Acoustix is comprised of Brian Smith and Dallas Griffin, who have entertained audiences for over 20 years each. They have worked together for over 15 years, which can be heard both in their music and their easy banter onstage. An evening with Acoustix is one folks tend to remember for a long time!
Acoustix brings extreme versatility to their show through the use of multiple instruments. Over the course of a night, audiences hear the acoustic guitar and bass, upright bass, electric guitar, bottleneck guitar and blues harmonica, and even some good old fashioned fiddle thrown in for good measure. Their range of music truly offers something for everyone!
Acoustix have performed to great reviews for years, and have received very favorable media attention, both in print and over the airwaves. For the last seven years, they have worked the summer season at the Treasure Ship in Panama City Beach, Florida, to the delight of the many tourist who come back year after year to hear them. They have also been regulars at Schooners, billed as "The Last Local Beach Club" in Panama City Beach. Wherever they play, they tend to do many return engagements, and their strongest supporters tend to be the people they've worked for.
