Touche'

We would first like to introduce the female of the group, Jennifer Arceneaux. Jennifer is from Crowley, La. and has performed with local seasoned players for the past six years before joining and helping to create Touche'. She is a versatile vocalist, able to cross-over from country to R&B and blues and has the enthusiasm to cover high energy dance music. Jennifer also handles herself well up front with a crowd. She brings a lot to the party.

Next will be our drummer, Kenny Alleman, from Lafayette, La. Kenny is a seasoned player with a number of credits. In addition to playing with local popular bands he was with a group named Atchafalaya for which Niles Loftgrun was producer for one of their LPs. Kenny most recently was with a popular road group named Calico Cats.

He has also performed on the same bill with various national acts at a young age which translates into his professionalism on stage. Kenny's talent, background vocals, and personality always make for an entertaining experience.

Touche's next member, Billy Tate, hales from Sunset, La.. Billy, along with Jennifer, sings the majority of lead vocals. He brings a lot of personality and vocal versatility to the group. His voice handles anything from Rick James to Steve Perry with Billy's own flavor built in. Billy, like other members of the group, has experienced local success; his with a group called Paragon.

Billy also was a member of the Calico Cats with Kenny on drums, thus giving the two some years of working together and time to create complimenting personalities on stage. Along with Billy's vocals he plays keyboard and guitar expanding his effectiveness as a quality musician.

We then have on bass, the youngest member of Touche', Damian Daigle from Lawtell, La.. Along with being a music major at the local college, he gained his experience on the streets down in southwest Louisiana. His talents far outweigh his years and he brings dedicated musicianship to the group. Damian has the instinct to play and feel just what a song needs to groove. As a personality Damian brings a sense of comradery which is always welcomed.

Lastly, we would like to introduce Kris Sherman, who is from new Orleans, La.. He grew up playing the clubs on Bourbon Street and there-abouts. Kris enjoyed success with a road group named Flavor. He had the opportunity to front act for groups such as ZZ Top, Freddy King, Poco, Mitch Ryder & Detroit Wheels, Ted Nugent, and some other Detroit misfits.

After moving to Lafayette he also had success with a popular group named the Fenders. Kris plays lead guitar, harmonica and shares some of the lead vocals with Jennifer and Billy. Kris' talent, versatility and fun-loving personality brings another dimension to the groups mix.

Touche' is a combination of talent, personality and dedication to accomplish one thing, and that is to bring a party with good music to a crowd of people. The chemistry the group has together is not only icing on the cake but also the foundation they continue to build upon.
