Can anyone tell me if the Quarter Deck has been sold I heard it was to be torn down for a parking garage for condos.

Good food, mexican oysters, draft beer.
Yes, it lots of locals, sometimes looked rough, but it was one of my favorite places, if you ever just went it, spent a few lunchs or evenings.

Is there anything else around Thomas Drive like that?, (Schooners-to hard to find a seat, never know if you are going to get blown off your seat, or get waited on(Sorry Schooners-probably you guys are just too popular).

Just looking for a place to have a draft, oysters, or some fried shrimp, maybe sit outside under an umbrellla, and not have to drive to the strip.

I hope it reopens soon, going down april 15. But I was sad when they told me last November, they were closing.

Try Bayou On The Beach at the curve on Thomas Drive, next to Newby's Two. $2 oysters and $1 draft from 4pm to 7pm happy hour.
