Sunbird

Can anyone tell me if the Sunbird is a nice place to stay? I wanted the Summit but they are doing balcony work the week my husband and I are going. Also if you stay at Sunbird can you still use the Tiki bar poolside at the summit?

I liked it so much, I bought one last year. It doesn't have a lot of perks as some of the other places, but it caters to people 25 or older. There is Pinapple Willy's next door for your liquid refreshments.
It has 3 pools, tennis, raquetball. On site beach service. They are all 1BR units that sleep a max of 4. Front C's and B's have the best view, but A's are the largerst.

Thanks for answering my question. I just hope and pray that Hurricane Dennis or any other hurricane does any damage down there in Panama City. We are really looking forward to spending time there in September.

I am going back in October. At least I hope I have a place to go back to.
Sept and Oct are great months. The weather is still nice and water is warm enough to enter.

We use to always stay at the Sunbird. They are very nice, especially for the price. We now stay at Long Beach (basically next door), because of the added amenities. I like having a washer and dryer in the room and the hot tubs at Long Beach. But, other than that, Sunbird has 3 really nice pools and is a nice condo complex.
