When we were there years ago, we ate at a place called Ruthie T's. Is it still there? If so, is it still a decent little place to eat?

Wish I'd know about Schooners then. Better believe I'll be checking it out first when I get there.

I can almost smell the salty air...

Hi, Ruthie T's is still there and the food is wonderful. Especially the Prime Rib. Better go early, they fill up fast.

Where is Ruthie T's now?
We went to the old place on Thomas Drive in March and now it's called the Fish Market with cajun food.

So where did Ruthie T's move?

It's called Fish Stock. Not sure about who the chef it.

I heard he went to the place where Ruthie T's use to be. Not sure of the name of the place. On a side note. I think we might have a triple crown winner this year. That horse was awesome.

Wasn't Fish Stock located in the old Makeo's building beside the Captain last summer? We ate there and was told the Chef from Hamilton's was there. Since we haven't been since last July, I'm sure alot of things have changed. Will be back in July and looking forward to Schooners, Salty's and all the rest of the usual haunts.

Okay, I finally got curious enough. I looked in the yellow pages on the web and got the phone number. It has been disconnected. The address it gave was 8503 Thomas Drive, shortly before the intersection with 98. If that's where the Fish Stock is located, then I guess Ruthie has gone away. The meal we had there was very good so I hate that we won't get to eat there again, but now I'll be able to try one more "new" place.

Of course Schooners is our first stop. Told the hubster I want to eat lunch there the day we arrive just so I can see first-hand the view I've been looking at on the web cams. Whenever we get a chance to steal away and let the grown boys watch the little guy, we'll be there for the great drinks I've read so much about. (I'll need one.) I can hardly wait!
