Head Count for Labor Day Weekend

Hey,

Just for fun, who all is going to PCB over Labor Day weekend and where are you staying. My family will be there Wed. August 29th through the weekend and we are staying at the Moonspinner.

We always skip the holiday weeks. We are going down on the week after Labor Day :D . The crowds are gone, kids back in school, and the rates are way cheaper!
It is still summer, ocean is still warm, and the atmosphere is much more tolerable. :lol:

We'll be down Thursday night (30th) and leave Monday (3rd). We always stay at the Mariner West on Thomas Drive. I am ready!!!

We will be there 9/1-9/8 and we stay at The Dunes of Panama every year

Hey.... I hope you all have checked out the Boatyard Club. For you non-locals that haven't checked it out, it is owned by Schooner's management, and is in the middle of the docks by Captain Andersons.

It is so hot in Atlanta right now, that I saw a bird today with oven mitts on, trying to pull a worm out of the ground!

It's 101 degrees at our house right now which is hotter than PCB! My hubby called and said that he and his apprentice are calling it quits for the day & will be floating in the pool, beer in hand, when I get home. Not the same as being at the beach, but it will have to do for now!
Aquarian, who would have thought that moving south meant cooler weather? Gulf breeze, white sand...AARRGG! I wish I was going with you!

That is funny, isn't it, Mrs. Peel? The family didn't believe me about the weather until I did the comparison of monthly average temps on theweatherchannel.com for here and there. Almost the same in the summer and waaaayyy warmer in the winter! Even though the temps are close in summer, the Gulf breeze makes it way more bearable. I'm really getting excited now! Come on, Sunday!

Doin' the midnight ride Thursday to be in PCB by Friday morning and hangin' at the Moonspinner for the whole week.

:D Hi this is Mel. 10-4 on the heat in the ATL. Always better to go down the day after labor day.. It always seems to be a lot cooler and the drinks don't get watered down by the ice so quick.
Can't wate to get me a big fat mageritta at Schooners. They have the best drinks on the beach.. Do you waqtch beach tv..?? You can sede fransisca on there.
Hope to see you at schooners next week. I might hang out in PCB for a couple of days and head west for Destan. first stop Hogs breth saloon.
then joes crab shack for some crab legs. Then on to the Howlin at the moon saloon..
Then back to the condo for a rest .. Then get up the next morning and hit the bar under the big rock at the Destan west.. Got to drink your drinks while you are in the rock bar cause the waterfall will ruin them when you walk under it to get out.
