In a split decision today Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, which means 6 more weeks of ice and snow for all of you who

live North of the Georgia state line. Our own General Beauregard Lee didn't see his shadow, which means an early spring.

I'm with the General and can't wait to get to Schooners and the Boatyard for a cold one. I hope all you guys thaw out

soon in the Great White North... :P

To me it means, cause I live in Indiana, that we will either have 6 more weeks of winter................or spring will come in 6 more weeks.

I am trying to be funny and it is just not coming across. I don't care if Phil saw his shadow or not, the weather will start getting nice around the middle of March   ( It was losing something in the translation)

ANYWAY....I am ready whenever the weather wants to change.

Another few inches of snow as I type!! Ugghhhh..most of it had just melted off the streets and now here goes another round!! It looks like a blizzard the way it's coming down! Colder temps too. This is the worst winter that I can remember in years! Can't wait til spring!! Please come soon!!

NANINDY. we ended up with about 3 more inches today as well. Most snow had melted, but there was still so much ice that didn't melt.

See Ro, Wannabe and I wanted to send you this beautiful snow. Hope you're feeling better.

Nothing gets you in shape like beer at 9:00 AM. Well...and tending to them possums burns a few calories too.

There was a 31 car pile-up on I-69 north of Indy yesterday (going towards Anderson, IN). Really bad icy/snowy conditions but they said cars/trucks/etc were going TOO FAST and following too close. Sad because there were 2 deaths because of this huge accident. It closed the interstate almost all day to clean it up. I think there were 5-6 semi-trucks involved also.

I will be so glad when this winter is over.

I saw that accident on our local news. Worried me a bit since I have a nephew that lives in Indy. People just don't learn that ice/snow means slow down. I have an SUV and I still drive slow on ice/snow. I am sure the people that pass me think why is she going slow in that SUV :?: :?:

And here I was going to complain because we are expecting rain....picked up my daughter from school yesterday here in San Diego, it was 82 degrees and sunny....got colder today....high of 67. But I STILL wish I was walking on the beach in Panama City instead of here. Linda

Linda in CA....can I just say you suck????!!!!   Oh and I mean that in the most loving way  You are near a beach

My husband was listening to me ***** last night that I needed a beach and he wants to send me to Rancho Cucamonga, CA cause we have good friends out there and I could go to Hunington Beach, which I love. But I kept saying I didn't want to fly over 5 hours to get there and I could drive 10 hours or fly a couple of hours and be at PCB!! But he is leary cause he doesn't know anyone at PCB, but I keep telling him I DO

THAT'S probably why he doesn't want you to go.....smart man! Although I'm sure you'd be as good as gold. LOL It sure does take a lot of effort to get to PCB but well worth it. It's raining now, so don't feel too bad. You wouldn't believe California drivers in the rain!!! Being originally from Miami I want to yell at them, "Slow the #$%% down!" But NOOOOO, they just keep on going at 70 miles an hour on slick roads and then wonder why it looks like a demolition derby. L

Linda, it takes a lot of effort to get to California from here, like it takes a lot of effort for you to get to PCB.

OH I do know what the drivers are like in CAL in the rain. I lived there. I know. I came from a state that deals with rain, snow, ice and then coming to CAL that can't handle anything but sunshine....I know. Then I moved to Kentuckyiana, which is what they call this area, Kentucky and Indiana, and they can't drive for s**t either. So go figure!!

Oh and I am good as gold. And I do mean that. No messin around for me. I have the husband and life I want, I just want to add in a little PCB  and I mean that in the whole sense of everything. Hey I am in my mid 50's. Been there, done that. I am about the most loyal, moral person you would want to meet. Boring as hell, but I do love PCB!!  And I do miss CAL too. Had some VERY good years and great friends there. Heavy Sigh!!

Have a good evening!!

Hey everyone, we are having a heatwave here in Indy today!! I didn't even have to put my winter coat on today!! All the snow is melting and everyone is in line to get their cars washed! I am loving this even tho it's probably just a day or two. Just stay around in Indy and the weather will change for you!
Of course, you probably don't want to stick around in the winter!

Wannabe we have Linda fooled don't we. She actually thinks we are nice????

Nanindy warm here too in the southern part of the state. currently 48 degrees. I too didn't wear a coat today either. Gotta love it... spring just around the corner. I still have thick ice on my driveway though  Hopefully will be melted in the next day or two.

It is 51 here in New Albany, IN at 10:26 our time, whatever that time zone is  I too did not wear a coat today. Got some walking in around the block twice today. I might be able to get this weight that has come on from quiting smoking, losing your job and winter sitting in, off! I hope so!!!

Linda, we are really cool people. Don't listen to Sweet2. She likes scare people off   She is really COOL TOO!!! 8)

Tell ya what. If I ever get out to Rancho Cucamonga to see my friends, I will let ya know. Might be able to hook up on a beach out there somewhere for lunch or a drink. That would be fun! Been a while since I have been to Laguna or Delany Point. Really use to love going there to eat. Also loved San Diego, Old Town. Like I said, loved it when I lived there!! Another heavy sigh
