bob sorry about your mom..I pray she will get to get out and enjoy herself too. Life is too damn short!! Yes my mom ALWAYS took care of my daddy up until the day he passed. Well guess what I did yesterday? Got me a new tat..my 6th one. It is of a celiestal sun..its awesome. Yes I will be watching the superbowl rooting for Giants only because he is a manning and I LOVE the COLTS!!! Sooo with that being said better get off here and shower and get ready for some football. Enjoy whats left of your weekend. And no I am not on here hardly anymore but will always keep up with u!!

I haven't seen you on lately. It's nice to hear from you!
She didn't do well with chemo and ended up in the hospital for 8 days. She was able to go back to the radiation treatments, but we were told that she isn't going to be cured. They are hoping this will give her more time basically. I just hope she can get back out and do some things she enjoys like going to the casino.

I bet you're mom did a lot to take care of your dad, and probably doesn't feel like she has a lot to offer anyone. I was thinking about that the other day with my mom. I'm sure they like to know that they are loved, but moms spend a lot of time making sure everyone else was happy. I'm sure they still want to feel important in that way, as well. If they can give your mom good care in a home, it's probably better that she has a chance to make new friends in a similar place in life than sitting at home alone.
