That's the first I've heard about the shooting capt. Was it a homicide?
Yea, that was my bad. I'm not as good at humor in a forum as I am in person. I've got to work on my material.
I think Salty's moved across the street from their original location. They seemed to be doing good when we passed by.
There was one next to that Shell Port on FBR, but they tore it down a few years ago.
That may be what he uses to fuel his scooter!
Yea, that pretty much mirrors every visit I have had to Schooners. My problem is that time seems to speed up to warp speed when I get there. I've said it before, but I want go to Schooners around...
I'll be looking too. Have a grouper sandwich and Corona for me.
I've been fighting the fever all my life and I don't look to win the battle anytime soon. Things got worse when I went down in the fall and absolutely loved it. The weather was nice and Schooners...
Hey Capt, you might want to have a safety installed on your light saber if you're carrying it in your pocket. Remember when Han Solo used it to cut off that guy's arm?
Hey Gaveup, my best buddy in basic training was from MN and we had a blast making fun of each other's accent. Enjoy your new place there and remember most of us are dreaming of living that close to...
Don't get me started on Angelos. When we were there not long ago, I ate my steak then finished off my wife's, daughter's, and my father-in-law's steak. I have never had a steak that good-anywhere.
Yea, the Sunspree cams are going in and out. This morning when I got to work, they were off. I checked in later and they were on.
You bring up a good point, CindyC. Vacations are nice, but you kill yourself getting ahead before you go and then come back to work to need a backhoe to find your desk. I hate the first week back...
Princessrn, getting off the cams and back to work is easier said than done.
In that case, I'm praying for a nice, set in rain next time I'm there.
Hey Capt, I would imagine you were laughing too hard to be able to run that drunk in for public intoxication. I would've loved to see him explaining to the judge how he thought he had ran a firetruck...
I remember it being there in the 70s but I don't remember when it closed. Speaking of blasts from the past, I was in Shipwreck LTD not long ago and saw a book called Images of America, which shows a...
I just checked it and it appears everything is back to normal in the pool.
Speaking of the good ole' days, does anyone remember the museum, I believe it was on FBR, but it had a fire truck on top of it. If I remember right, it wasn't too far from Dracula's Castle. I don't...
Has the cam at the Legacy quit working? I was watching the progress of the new pier and now it won't pull up.
We stayed at the Flamingo back around Memorial Day and it was nice. Our only complaints were the hot tub didn't work and the people in the room above us were smoking crack and everytime they would...
Just a message for any others out there that are not members of this forum but peek in regularly--you might as well join because you won't be able to fight it long. Im trying to think of any red...
I don't see them selling many units once people catch on to what is happening. If I paid all that money for a unit only to learn I had to pay to use the pool, etc., I wouldn't be a happy camper...
Good luck sleeping the night before your trip. We have tossed and turned until the wee hours and just said the heck with it and got up, packed the car and took off, arriving just in time to see the...
