This may be old news, but we saw The Travel Channel's Top 10 Beaches of Florida yesterday & PCB was #8. (Actually, I'm sure it was older because a lot of condos I saw in October were not built yet.) They talked a lot about the spring break crowd and had managers from Spinnakers and Club La Vela on it.

Captain, if the powers that be are trying to reshape the PCB image, maybe someone should call The Travel Channel and invite them down to see the new plans. Same goes for Fine Living and Food Network channels. See if anyone wants to cover the PCB/Panhandle area. Families need to know it's a great place to be once the college crowd gets dressed and goes home. They didn't even mention St Andrews Park, Shell Island, the Pirate Cruise, the water park, or anything else family friendly.

What you will find is, most of these are connected to travel magazines and such and those that advertise the most, gets higher scores. We might invite those writers here, but other resorts are doing the same. Its a vicious cycle out there. It's kinda like who can suck up the best gets the hightest score.
Old Captains never die, they just get a little dingy!!
If its illegal to drink and drive, why do bars have parking lots?
