I think Tripsmarter has the breakdown.
I believe some schools start showing up next week and then until about mid April.
You can't take it with you so you might as well spend it.

They are here already. The news tonight showed crowds at LaVela today. Canada has started bussing them in beginning yesterday. Be afraid, very afraid.

If its illegal to drink and drive, why do bars have parking lots?

    Spring Break Draws Near

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla.--We're in the midst of Canadian Spring Break and little over a week away from American Spring Break, per se, which largely begins every year in March.

While it's too early to tell whether or not a $475,000 nationwide ad campaign spurred by Panama City Beach's Tourist Development Council will help attract more spring breakers than ever before, beach businesses aren't wasting anytime gearing up for the annual influx of college students.

So far, students are beginning to trickle in. Today at Club La Vela students soaked up the sun near one of the club's many pool decks after being bused there from nearby hotel towers such as the Holiday Inn Sun Spree.

The projected amount of windfall they are expected to bring into Panama City Beach is $60 million.

But bigger isn't always better. "Don't do anything you wouldn't normally do at home. If you don't funnel 12 beers at home don't do it here," says Panama City Beach Police official Dave Humphreys

No kidding....the whole point of Spring Break is to get away from home and act crazy.

No, I act just as crazy at home as I do somewhere else.

    Default spring break memories

Hello everyone! I've been reading the posts on here for a while... but this is my first post. I can't resist responding to the spring break topic. I had my share of spring breaks in PCB. However, my most recent one was when my husband and I got married in March 2005. We were both in grad school and got married on our spring break. Now, I want to come back down each year to celebrate our anniversary. Unfortunately, with the spring break rates, it is a bit difficult at this point. I suppose I will have to tell myself "maybe next year" again. To those of you who get to visit during spring break time... try to either ignore or enjoy all of the young revelers (which ever suits you best), and enjoy the beautiful beach. Hopefully I will get to come down soon. Until then, I will enjoy the beach cams and all of your posts. Cheers to Schooners and all "ya'll"! =)
