I can't be "Little Miss Sunshine" all of the time.
Cool! I live in a very small town...Doerun, GA it's about 30 miles sw of Albany.
Last week it was pretty clear. There were patchy spots of seaweed, but it wasnt washing on shore. But overall it was nice and clean.

I'm no expert, but from what I have gathered in my research it seems the seaweed situation is hit or miss. If there's a lot of storm action in the Gulf, you could have seaweed. If all is calm, then you have less of an issue. I've also heard it can vary greatly according to where you are on the beach. One end may be clear and the other end full.

I left on August 1st and there was hardly any seaweed in front of the Sunbird, so I assume there wasn't much anywhere it that area.
You can't take it with you so you might as well spend it.
