    Default I'm a"Lurker"

I have been informed by my computer nerd brother that I am a "lurker". After he explained, I agreed. I read the post semi regularly but don't post very often because I don't have alot of time and often feel like an outsider. I have watched PCB change over almost 40 years and haven't always liked it but there is still no place I'd rather be when I can get the time. I'll be there Jun 30 - July 5 and looking forward to sunsets at Schooners and a lunch or two at Scampi's. I've never been to the Boatyard but have added it to this years schedulde. First time by myself with no one else's agenda to get in my way so I'm in the count down mode and can't wait.

Congrats to all the recent transplants. I'm jealous but hope to join you someday. CaptKen, always love all the local updates on changes and things to come.

Congratulations! You just became an insider. Welcome to the board.
I chose the road less traveled, now I don't know where the hell I am!

Glad to be of service. Don't forget a visit to Pier Park while here.

Rosemary, I went to PCB by myself once & really enjoyed it. Went into beach withdrawal one late February and jumped in the car & drove down. I thought it might feel a little strange, but I had a great time. I did a little wine tasting at the Panama City Beach Winery & bought some wine, went out to lunch every day and did a lot of exploring of shops & local parks that I probably wouldn't have enjoyed nearly as much with the family in tow. (Mom I'm bored, can we leave now?) Called the hubby every night at 7P, so he'd know I was still alive.
    I highly recommend it!
If it doesn't involve the beach, it isn't a real vacation.

If the definition of a lurker is someone who visits a lot but does not sign in, then I am also a lurker. I enjoy the cams and all the locals input very much. This is by far my favorite site to visit. I am sorry to say I will be unable to visit until October this year but have already made reservations for May of 2009. Congarts to all who have PCB their residence and good luck to all that one day wish for that ultimate goal.

Guess that makes me a lurker, too. I've checked the board for two years now, but seldom contribute. We'll be down there the first week of August, so until then we'll be stuck here on the coast of Oklahoma.

Going own by yourself when married??? There is no way I'd EVER ALLOW my wife to take a trip to the beach by herself. Now me go by myself that is fine. The beach is no palce for a women without her man!!!!!

Just kidding before you all rip me. I am a week from my beach trip and I am getting giddy...

I was a "Lurker" too until I joined about a couple of months ago. I feel much better since joining. I feel like I've joined a family.

Mrs Peel - I always go to Panama Beach Winery, went there just today. Have you tried the Orange Coffee Wine there? If you like coffee, this wine is great. I love it.
I may live in Indy but my heart is in PCB

I know the PCB Winery is on Thomas Drive but what are a few landmarks nearby?
