Default Waiting for my time in PCB

I have my best friend, and his G/F, on their way down today, for a week. I watch the cameras, look at the beach, and I am chomping at the bit.
We won't be down until the second week of August...17-23, to be exact. I was wondering if any of my forum friends might be there on that same week. Would love to meet some of you guys.
I was hoping to drive my new F-150 truck, as it is so comfortable and roomy, and we take a lot of "stuff" for a week, and we take a little dog, that has a lot of "stuff" as well. Right now, it costs me $120.00 to fill my tank, and if gas keeps going up, we may have to drive one of our more economical vehicles.
What ever we drive, I will be very happy to get back there
Until then, I will keep watching the cameras, and think towards the future

Wish I could be there to meet some of the 'forum family' but I'm going to CA June 21 for 10 days and then I'll be spending a week in Huntsville, AL in August for my daughter's wedding. Would LOVE to spend my time in PCB on that BEAUTIFUL beach It's going to be a great summer for everyone! Hope some of the forum family can get together and finally meet. Everyone have a great time!

Doug J - we have been considering going down the 16th - 23rd of August. We just haven't made up our minds for sure yet. Since you are taking your dog, where will you be staying? We always take our little dog so I'm always curious about Pet Friendly condos. If my husband & I end up going, maybe we can all meet up at Schooners.
I may live in Indy but my heart is in PCB

Take your truck. The extra comfort and safety of the F-150 is worth the extra gas money. Make up the difference somewhere else.

I am "chomping at the bit" as well to get there. We are coming July 19-23. Cannot wait. I can hear it, smell it, taste it. I need it sooooooooo bad!!!!!

P.S. The beach looks GORGEOUS TODAY.

11 more days! 11 days from now I will be sitting by the pool at the Dunes slamming beers! I just can't hardly stand the wait. Looking forward to hitting Schooners for lunch and again for dinner and great bands!

This is the time of year I dread being in an office. We've had nice weather the past two days, beach weather to be exact and the office is slow with clients and co-workers in the vacation mode.

But, I had a friend bring me back some sand when she went a few weeks ago. I put the sand in nice glass container with a cork on top. I can stick a finger in the sand anytime I want and I'm there.
