Middle of September. Have surgery on my wrist in 2 weeks. Just a little office thing under local, but when I get cleared from that I'll go back to evenings then. I told my old boss this evening that I was coming back.....she said she had died and gone to heaven. She is so glad I'm coming back.

what's up with the wrist ?

The tendon that attaches to the thumb is all inflamed. We injected it with steroids, and it can be injected in that area only once.....so out comes the knife.

they gonna scope it ? that's that carpal nerve inflamed...

No it's not the carpal tunnel. It's on the medial side. It has some long name that I can't remember. They just make a slit in the tendon that goes over the bone in your wrist so it doesn't rub against the bone as much. No big deal. But it does hurt like h*ll. Been hurting since January.

well you waited long enough, you gotta take care of that...

I know. People in the medical field are the worst ones about getting anything taken care of.

that's cause they see it all the time, i've had multiple surgeries...

do you have to work 12 tomorrow..?

Yeah. Then I have Thursday off, work Friday.
