Default none of my business but ...

DougJ has given Susan the ring. It's too big and they would like to know if anyone knows of a good place in PCB/PC to size it. Doug is crippled on a laptop this week and having problems posting so I'm sticking my nose into his business, as a friend, to help out. I hope Susan doesn't mind. Heck, I hope Doug doesn't mind .

Now we have to start talking about crashing the wedding !

Romancing the Stone, located on Back Beach Road just west of Hwy 79 in the small business plaza on the north side of the road. Hmmm, did she give him a ring for his nose in return?

Good news!!! Found a place close by this morning on Thomas Dr. that was able to size the ring for a very reasonable price. We picked it up 4 hours after we dropped it off, and he did a beautiful job. She absolutely loves it, and can't stop looking at it.
I will send pictures after we get home.
We had lunch at Schooners, and got a real good buzz off the drinks.
Susan and Max are laying down right now, and we have a 6:30 sunset trip reserved on the airboat ride out in the backwaters.Gonna do Boondocks for dinner afterward, as it is out that way too.
I appreciate everyones thoughtfulness and concerns.
Capt......ring through the nose? Damn buddy....that cuts me to the bone. This woman is the best thing that has ever come into my life. I was in a total "self destruct" mode, for three years before I met her. You might say, that we "rescued" each other.

Ring thru the nose aint' a bad thing. I've had one for years. She lets me wear the pants at least twice a week.

Doug, a big congratulations to you and Susan.

Let us know how the food is at Boondocks.

We checked out Gangliano's (I know I really messed up the spelling on this one) at Pier Park. It was good. We each had different things and they were all good. One of the things I've really noticed is how expensive these places are here now since we were here last. Hamilton's was my favorite place to eat because I really felt like I got what I paid for....good quality food. I think we'll check out Capt. Anderson's if we have time because I've heard some good things about them.

Kentucky Nurse, we enjoyed Boondocks last year very much. Food was very fresh and quite tasty.

That is a good point about Pier Park. Don't go there if you are trying to save money. I'm guessing the monthly rent has many of them trying to recoup that cost, sometimes, with a single purchase. Very fun environment, though.

Okay, I've realized I really messed up the name on the Italian restaurant. It's Guglielmo's (I think).

Pressley, thanks for the information about Boondocks. My daughter went to the one in Daytona and she said the key lime pie was to die for. I think we'll try that one out.

Midwest...you're right. I thought the little cafe's wouldn't be so expensive, but wow, our dinner for the 4 of us was almost $70 and I only got a $10 Greek salad.
