HOTEL RECCOMENDATIONS

Hope you guys can reccomend a good hotel for a quick 4-5 day / night stay.
For the past several years my wife & I usually rented a condo for a week after Labor Day, but this year we're not going to be able to do that.
We'll be lucky to be able take off for for a few days & make an extended weekend.
It's been several years since we stayed in a hotel / motel & after checking out Trip Advisor.com, it seems that everyone either loves or hates ALL the hotels.
So I was just wondering if any body can reccomened a decent hotel & which ones to stay away from.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
One thing for sure though, we know where we're going to have at least one lunch or dinner...Schooners, of course.
I can tatse the Schooner Burger & an ice cold Bud (or several) already.

TOMJ - I stayed at the Chateau when I was there in June/July. First time but I loved it. Small(4 floors) on the beach with great deals.

You can still enjoy the amenities of a condo after Labor Day.

Contact Dunes of Panama.com there it will provide rates and pics, along with their phone#. You may be very surprised that a 2 nite stay gets you a free 3rd nite and right now they are discounting all of those rates you see on the site. The staff can even email you tours of whatever size unit you need....so look B4 you buy.

It is our PCB home every year...clean and lux...on the beach.

You can always count on Palmetto Inns and Suites on the west end, across from the Boar's Head, to make sure that you have a very pleasant experience. Very clean, and the owners, Rick and Patti are good friends of ours. We've been going there for over 40 years with my parents, and now taking our kids. We love the Palmetto.

we were just there august 13th to 17th and stayed at the majestic.it is a condo on front beach rd. it was very nice and clean.the lady charged us 160.00 a night.plus everything was new,like flat screen t.v.s.let me know if you want her number.
