Lobsterfest Weekend...But with baby?

It's official...I'll be heading down to PC for Lobsterfest, but there is the possibility that I will be coming with my 18 mos. old son if the grandparents can't babysit. Will it be something that I can still bring the baby out to or should we just set up camp at Ocean Terrace and come back next year alone? What can I expect at Lobsterfest? This will be my first year and the website is kind of vague about what all it entails.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to bring a baby. Here's a Beach TV Local News segment from a couple of years ago...it should give you a better idea about some of the festivities!

From where we stayed, we could see the Ocean Terrace. There was a family that had a baby, and two other kids less than 3...I'm guessing, and they were at the Ocean Terrace.
Every morning, about 7:30, the dad would go out on the beach, pulling a wagon with knobby tires, and he had it loaded 4 feet high, and everything was strapped down. It took him about an hour to set everything up each day. They had a little screened tent for the baby, beach umbrellas for all the adults, lounge chairs, coolers, blankets, toys for the kids, hell...he wore me out watching him get set up every day.
Almost made me want to go help him, but I paid my dues...way back when.

Thanks...We took the baby back in June for a week and hell...I needed a vacation from my vacation. He's getting to be a little more independent now, so I think we'll have a good time. I just wondered if there were any kiddy festivities going on down at Schooners that weekend.

Maybe you could send a message to SarahM, who works at Schooners? If anyone would know about festivities for kiddies, it would be her, I'd bet.

Ga Medic, Lstyle, pressley13 . . . anybody in favor of scheduling an evening at Schooner's to meet up and do a face-to-face? We'll be there 9/11-9/23, weather permitting. Thurs. night before Lobsterfest is a good time, but let me know. Waitin' to hear!

We won't be down until Friday evening and we're leaving Sunday, but I'd love to meet up.

We won't be getting down there until the 19th. I saw quite a few kids last year when we went to Lobsterfest.
