Nope, she's staying on the sunny beaches. She just has a lot on her plate currently and in the process of moving to a new place. She's busier than a one arm paper hanger but I'm sure she will rejoin us before too long. Just call her Red!!!

Ok, ok! I'm now ready to share with all of you.

Hubbyman and I decided to take a break for a while. He's back in Indiana and I'm staying here. I just signed a lease on a great place of my own and am moving in this weekend. It's all ok. We both accept this and are still friends. There is talk of possible reconciliation down the road, though neither of us is holding our breath, or even sure we want to bother with it. Our kids are all fine with it and still want me to be part of their lives, even though I'm just the "step" mom.

I am also working very hard to try to earn a promotion at work, which would make my living situation significantly better, as well as making me feel like I accomplished something on my own. I have gotten involved with the Optimists, thanks to Capt Ken's darling wife. I have just lost a lot of weight and feel better about myself than I have in many years. And, I'm learning belly dance by way of the internet to complete the transformation of my body.

All in all, I've been very busy. I've had very limited access to the internet and if it wasn't slow at work today, I wouldn't even be on the forum right now. I do miss you all and promise when things settle down, I will get back into it again.

As for Ken's comment about calling me red, he's referring to yet another change I made. I'm not longer a blonde. I've always wanted to see how deep red would look and it turns out that it's not bad on me.
