    Default Star Light....

    Star light, star bright, ............

I am looking at the sunset cam, Indiana time 8:23pm and I see what looks like a star over the ocean. Evening Star?? Cool! Can't even look out here and see any stars for the winter night, but can go on line and see it on a beach cam. What is wrong with this picture???

Well that sounds great! I am in TN for a few days and its a little better here but Sunday we got about 3 to 4 inches & I would have loved to see this. I never thought of looking at the cams that late at night but I will now I only have a little more than a month & I will be able to see them in person. OMG that will be the life, I just feel truly blessed to be able to be going but I am getting very excited!

tntsweet..When I was looking last night, I kept it on there for a while just in case it might have been a plane, but it wasn't. And I think the only reason I could see it was because the light outside of Schooners was not on. It was the first time I had seen something like that. Or it could have been a ship, but it wasn't moving either.

I'm not sure if it's what you're seeing on the cam, but Jupiter and Venus are absolutely gorgeous this week. You'll see them fairly close to each other, two very bright "stars" overpowering the rest of the sky.
