This spring we are staying at Gulfcrest for the first time. Just wondering if anyone has stayed there. I start getting excited about our annual trip once reservations are made. I know my wife will be ready to use her Schooners gift card.I always get her one for Christmas/Birthday. Sorry I hadn't posted in awhile. I check it out almost daily. I guess I had reverted back to my "lurking" days. March 28th can't get here soon enough. Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season.

We stayed last year at Sugar Beach and this was actually a little cheaper. That's why I was curious.

My daughter rents there every NYE for the week and the room she gets is always reasonable. But then it is the winter. They like it because its behind Ms Newby's and they can crawl home afterward.

We have stayed there a couple of times. It is within my wife's comfort zone. (You must understand her idea of camping is the Hilton.) We enjoyed our time there. They are on the East end away from the main strip which is perfect for me. Also they allow Motorcycles so I took my Harley with me-(before I sold it ) Pretty close to Schooners-not as close as Treasure Island where we stayed last. I would go back to Gulf Crest it is a nice
place.

Oh wow...that's right next door to where we stay at Ocean Terrace. I'm not big on the high rise joints, but it looks nice if you're into riding an elevator everytime you go down to the beach. I, personally, like the small places, but they are few and far between these days.

Thanks for the info. We always stay on this section of the beach. We also made sure we're not very high up. Since the mid 80's we've stayed at just about every type of place. Many of them are now long gone. Being close to Schooners is a priority that comes right before running water.

As long as we're talking properties, has anybody got a clue about the rates at TI, I have talked to them on the phone for an email with rates days ago....whut up

You might try going to VRBO to look at some TI rooms and get a rate from an owner. It's usually less than going straight through the condo management company.
