Default So it wasn't the beach, but a good day by the water....

The temp in Memphis reached a pretty 65 today. Leslie and I woke up and she suggested we go to Gus's Fried Chicken and take our dog Mollie down to the river for a picnic.

We were at Tom Lee Park in downtown Memphis for about 4 hours today, just eating, watching kids play football, fly kites, walk with their dogs, and watching the big ole barges floating down the river.

Not the beach, but not a bad day at all....

Transitt, sounds like a great day. Warm up here in Indiana too but only in the 50's. Spring is just around the corner.

It hit 70 today here in West Georgia. Allow me to rub it in a bit...5 days from right now I'll be at Schooners at this time..closing down the joint and getting ready to walk back to my condo. Hopefully I will be able to walk back.

I know what you mean, Dave. I'll be back in the 70's for the next couple of days. Yesterday, I got the stang all polished up and ready to go. It was warm enough to drop the top and ride out...Just hoping that the weather doesn't misbehave for the weekend.

It was a beautiful weekend in South Georgia. We stayed at our house on Lake Blackshear. There were lots of boats out both Saturday and Sunday. Not the beach....but close.

Big Dave...hope you have a great trip. You and Tom literally crack me up with the way you two can type. I was raised a hillbilly and sometimes I have a little difficulty reading your posts. Maybe I've been away from them there hills too long.
