    One more hint.....

The name of the song is a weapon.

Linda has some trouble logging on and says that the song is "Grenade" by Bruno Mars. She's going to AZ and NM for the next few
weeks, and will let us know if she runs into any aliens at Roswell.

Somebody else go ahead with a song.

I'm Back! Roswell was cool...got a bumper sticker that says, "My Other Car is a UFO". Been all over New Mexico and Arizona with a little hop skip and a jump to Four Corners where I got to stand in 4 states at one time. Did a lot of our trip on the old Route 66. Total trip mileage....4029.9 miles. I drove through this town and can't get the song out of my head...maybe someone will know it:

    Well, I'm a standing on a corner
    in Winslow, Arizona
and such a fine sight to see
It's a girl, my Lord, in a flatbed
Ford slowin' down to take a look at me
Come on, baby, don't say maybe
I gotta know if your sweet love is
    gonna save me
We may lose and we may win though
we will never be here again
so open up, I'm climbin' in,

Take It Easy, Eagles but I think Jackson Browne wrote it.
Sounds like you had a really good trip. I'm gonna do that one day.

You're correct! Here's a link to The Eagles, Jackson Brown and Linda Ronstadt performing it:

    Your turn.

Alrighty...I woke up in the middle of the night and found a bio of this gentleman on Ovation. Then I saw a story on tv that was pretty wild so....

I remember when rock was young
Me and Susie had so much fun
    Holdin' hands and skimmin' stones
Had an old gold Chevy and a place of my own

    Enjoy

Heard this the other day. A little history to go with it.

1988 this was featured in the movie The Great Outdoors. This was used in the films Soul To Soul (1971), Forrest Gump (1994) and The Full Monty (1997).:

    Playing, it is a habit
    With long tall Sally
    Twistin' with Lucy
    Doin' the Watusi
    Roll over on your back
    I like it like that
    Do that Jerk-uh
    Watch me work y'all
    Ow! Do it!
    Wow! Do it!
    Just watch me do it
Looking for my lost shaker of salt.

Hahaha!!! I just danced with my daughter to this on Just Dance 3! Moves are considered easy but the sweat count is high!!
Land of a 1000 Dances by Wilson Pickett.

    Love it!!!

(side note--I think that they used this in the animated flick Fern Gully-The Last Rain Forest, too. You'd only know that if you are a fool for animation or you had kids around 1992. "Nutricious and delicious, tastes just like chicken!"
