Doesn't anyone want to come and play????? Here's a new lyric...a "classic".

Life is very short, and there's no time
For fussing and fighting, my friend.

For those of you who are Beatles fans and would like to take a trip down memory lane, here is a link I stumbled upon. It's the entire Beatles movie: "Help!" Lots of great songs in this movie. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, it's worth it to go to 1:06 and watch them perform "Help!" (one of my favorite Beatle songs).

You dreamed of a big star
    He played a mean guitar
He always ate at the steak bar
And he loved to drive in his Jaguar.

Ok, I'll take a crack at it. Is it Pink Floyd's "Welcome to the Machine"?

You're too funny, bassplayer60!!! You gotta make the lyrics "EASY". I've found that the "classic" songs seem to do best.

    Like:

[HER:] They say our love won't pay the rent
Before it's earned, our money's all been spent
[HIM:] I guess that's so, we don't have a pot
But at least I'm sure of all the things we got

Bet this one will be guessed by Monday.

I'm thinking a little MORE "classic"....LOL Anyway you are correct bassplayer60, it's "I Got You Babe". Of course Sony and Cher performed it originally.

PS. I used to wear a little top that was just like the one Cher is wearing in the video. Anyone else wear one?

I can't wait to see what you post for a new lyric, bassplayer60

Let's see if I can be a little more "classic".

"You've got your demons, and you've got desires.
But I've got a few of my own"
Keep a song in your heart and the wind in your face. gr
