Aw c'mon you guys! Am I the only late 60's, early 70's ex-hippie on this forum? Somebody's got to remember this song.
These are the opening words on the first track of the album and it was one of those albums that you played all the way through for the total experience.
If it doesn't involve the beach, it isn't a real vacation.

I don't know, but If you're in the Philippines and here someone belting out "My Way," duck for cover.

They all play on pennywhistles, you can hear them blow, if you lean your head out far enough from Desolation Row.

Well, Mrs. Peel I guess no one knew your song. Please post what it was...I'm curious. In the meantime I am going to hijack this thread and post a new song....

    Here's a "classic" :

    I know,..... I know,...... I know,...... I know,...... I know,...... I know......
The sun will always rise and who knows what the tide might bring?

Had to run this through my head about 30 times before I could go any further. Finely got it I think.

"Ain't no sunshine when she's gone."

Do you know how many times he says "I know..." in the song?

Way to go FB_Bama....it's all yours!

Just saw something on TV that reminded me of this song:

Baby close your eyes and listen to the music
    Drifting through a summer breeze
Whoever said life's not great without sunshine has never danced in the rain.

Linda, I'm glad to see you kept the thread going after my song basically killed it. The name of my song was "Nothin' to hide" from the Spirit album "The twelve dreams of Dr Sardonicus".
Love the song you picked. I have a Bill Withers greatest hits CD...good stuff!
