Caesar Salad

I just read in the paper that the restaurant that invented the Caesar Salad had to close due to lack of tourist business because of fears about the H1N1 virus. The restaurant is in Tijuana, Mexico! For some reason I just assumed that the salad was an Italian creation.
Just thought I'd share that little nugget of useless information with y'all.
