Default Rubbing a little salt in the wounds...

As I was sitting in a faculty inservice on this cold and rainy day, the consultant was making small talk and out of nowhere says, "This time next week, I'll be at Schooners". I asked him what was going on there next weekend. He replied, "Nothing that I know of...but I just love that place. I set up my tent out back, drink beer all day and the bar is right there." That touched my heart. As I was leaving the school, I had an overwhelming urge to punch that dude in the face because I was sooooo jealous. The countdown is on...I've got exactly a month before I'll be in the same spot. Grrrrr.
Stay ugly and bitter, my friends.

Three weeks from today I'll be there. Four weeks and four days from today...I will be back there again. It's a little early for me to break out the salt shaker. Considering that you were stuck in meetings, facing another rainy weekend... I think the dude deserved a roundhouse to the face.

I admit it...I'm jealous. Course, Memorial Day isn't too far away.

I must have had a few kold beers when I posted this. It's two weeks from tomorrow when we head back down.

Thank you for your concern Mrs. Sassy. I know that it's bad for me. Thats why have cut back considerably. Now let me shake a little salt.. two weeks from RIGHT NOW...I'm there. At this hour..most likely crab hunting with my son and sipping on something healthy.
