Well 4 nights is better than 0 nights!! I have a countdown clock on my computer. LOL! Those friends coming with us are from Evansville. I hope we can all meet up when we are down there.

How do you say it???? Koowell??? LOL!!! Which do you like better?

I have been renting from the same owner at Regency Towers for the past 8 years. I know the place is older but he only charges me 600 for 9 nights and does not make me put down a deposit. We rented from him so much that he told me to just keep the keys because we used to go down 2 or 3 times a year. That was until I lost my job and the good money went bye bye!

Careful! The word "koowell" is horribly offensive to some. Tom is the only one that can use it without fear of being attacked. I rent from the same people for my June and July weeks...but the rest of the time I just look for the best rates. You can surely get an entire week in September cheaper than you can get a few days. I'm just glad I have mine locked in. It's on the 18th floor...so the beach festivities won't be too loud and keep the family up. Last year the band was playing on the beach late in the evenings. I'm there Dude!

We all know about the good money that went bye bye. I have fallen victim to the economy. I have been working for a year (Aug 16th) but was off for 2 years before that and have not recouped the wages that I was making! At all! Major cut, but at least I have something coming in. And it does allow me to get to PCB, hopefully, at least once a year! I have been staying at the Summit and I will be using a new owner this time. So we will see. She also has a condo at the Regency Towers. Is that near the Summit?

The wife and I were in the same boat your are in. We both worked for the same homebuilder and they let us both go the same day. I am only making 25% of what I used to make. The wife ended up with a better job and I am going thru the hiring process at Lockheed Martin right now. I have my fingers crossed. 2009 was the first time in 19 years we were not able to make it to PCB. Regency Towers looks like The Summit. Regency is 1 mile west of Schooners. We have walked to Schooners before and stumbled back!

It's about a half mile or less from Schooners ..between the Summit and Schooners.
