    The week in review...

On the way back from the beach we got a call that a friend's husband was murdered. Her dad is the one that murdered him. When we were 1/4 of mile from our house, there was a horrible wreck at the intersection of my street and the highway. We sat there for 2 hours and waited for the rescue workers to clear the highway. I don't see how anyone survived after seeing the two cars go by on the roll back tow truck. I was informed there were no fatalities. That was Monday. Wednesday I got to work to be informed that my friend and coworker committed suicide the night before. His girlfriend found him hanging from the attic rafters. He was 33 years old. It was a somber week at work...funerals all weekend. Don't take life for granted. You never know when you will leave this world.

So sorry to hear that, Dave. Makes you want to run home, give your loved ones a big hug and count your blessings.
If it doesn't involve the beach, it isn't a real vacation.

Thank you awesome people. The craptastic week is behind me. I'm trying not to think about that crap as I am enjoying the humid tropical temps here in Orlando this week. My hotel has a happy TWO hours!
