Still looks like someone is strolling on the beach this AM, though. Guess they are bundled up. Hope the temps get back into the 70's by next month.
Stay ugly and bitter, my friends.

We've been averaging mid 40's here in the midwest all winter which is kind of crazy warm for us and it's great. It's a bummer for the kids though because there hasn't been any snow, and the ponds haven't frozen over. I was going to and from the laundromat in shorts and t-shirt yesterday so I could get all of my pants washed. Right now it's in the upper 20's with about a 30 mph wind, but it's suppose to warm up in a couple days again. Makes it a lot easier getting through the winter.

There should be several days in the 70's in February down there. I think Feb is usually pretty windy. When it comes out of the north though, it makes the water look like a sheet of blue glass.

Which is not to be confused the The Ville (Louisivlle, KY)! Hi, Beach Bummin! Maybe we can get on the bike this weekend. Came down with a cold, complements of my co-workers, this weekend, or we could have rode Saturday. Looking around the 60's here too this coming weekend. We had snow flurries today, pretty, but did not stick. So far, and knock on wood, this winter has not been too bad for this area!

Good luck with your cold. I had to put my bike (m.c.) up early this year. Hope to have it out in the spring. Had a real bad knee injury, kept me out of work for almost 5 months, don't want to push things.

We have an Ultra Classic and my husband had it put up for a while, but once it says it is going to be in the 40's or 50 for a high and it is dry out, he rides it to work. Sometime he rides when it is 32 degrees out. Not me! Got to be in the 60's for me!! We rode to PCB twice. It was great! Hope your knee injury heals by spring. Nothing like having good weather and your can't ride!

Were you wearing a dark colored shirt and dark shorts with white stripes on the sides? Saw a guy at the bar on Friday that I thought was you, but wasn't sure.
Also, how did you like staying at the Commodore?

If it doesn't involve the beach, it isn't a real vacation.

That was me and the Kat. We like the Commodore. I rent directly from the same couple of owners. So I know what to expect. I have rented from the Commodore directly and got a unit that needed some work. They have done a lot of upgrades around the property the past few months. It's in great shape.
