Yeah I have never seen a bigger sausage fest in the world than the pool cam view. I can't wait though cause I've got the fever bad, for the beach, not sausage.

Spring Break is here, a culture change is under way, went to the get some liquor at walmart, stood in the checkout line for an Hour.next time going at 9am.
heard something about a shooting near Sharkeys this aft. don't know if thats fact or fiction, will watch the news at 10pm

See that is part of reason i don't go 331, i see very few if any on the short stretch of 231,plus i am all for shortest route to paradise

Well over the years I have gone every way possible, but I prefer to stay on 65 to exit 151 17miles below Montgomery, pick up 97 over to 331 at Highland Home. LOVE the countryside down thru the little towns that time seems to have pretty much forgotten, Luverne, Brantley, Opp (I still go thru Opp instead of taking that so called bypass) then there is a Pure Gas station before you leave Opp that still sells GAS, not that 10% ethanol crap. Then just a few miles below Opp (10 miles?) there is the nice clean state run rest area with a pet walk.Then on to Florala, Paxton, Defuniak Springs, Freeport and then a choice of whether to take 79 over to Ebro and on down OR stay on 331 to 98 (my choice) because you get to cross Choctawhatchee bay (very scenic) then you hit 98 and when you get to Front Beach Rd. you get to ride all the way down thru the older part of the beach until you come to the concrete jungle...but that's just me.

I only use 331 because it takes us just the right amount of time to get to our hotel at check in. I love those old little towns through there. And when I am on it at the times I travel I see very little traffic. I will try the other way next time but it is hard when I have went that way for the last 15 years.
