Default I have created a little beach monster!!!!

Many of you that know me on the forum now how my last few years know how hard they have been losing my beloved Bob after a lengthy battle with Heart disease and MS,i so missed the joy i would see in his face every trip we would make to the beach.when i lost him his precious Kylee was only 2 and his world revolved around her.well as we are planning our vacation for this year to the beach i have started to see the same sparkle in her eyes i used to see in Bob's eyes these next 5 1/2 weeks she is marking everyday off on calender with a beach themed sticker it warms my heart to see that sparkle in her eyes and smile on her face as she anticipates her trip to the beach and even though she was so young on the last trip the three of us made to the beach she remembers it which amazes me.

Keep making memories. I was two the first time my parents took my family. That was 1977 and it never gets old.

We starting making memories for my grandson this past spring break. He is two and I hope it is the first of many trips we get to make with him. He never wanted to leave the beach.

My five year old is the same way. He talks about the beach almost every day and always wonders when we're going back.

My 12 yo daughter Shel and I will be back in PCB in 4 days. She said to me this morning "You know, this time...I'm NOT coming back!" How I wish I could make that possible for her!

I am still having a hard time grasping the fact that Kylee will be 6 on May 2 she was so little when i meet so many great friends here on the forum many of who helped her have a great Christmas in 08 while i was dealing with my Bob's rapidly declining health,my forum friends made it alot easier to get through some very dark days during that time.and yes i now know Kylee is an offical beach girl. having hawaiian day at school today so she went with hula skirt and lei's of many colors she is in awe of the dancers at the holiday inn so she has been practicing her hula dance since about 18 months old

We're having an "Aloha to Testing" party at my school today. I'm sporting my Pineapple Willies shirt with some leis. I would have worn my Schooner's shirt, but most of them say "I Love This Bar". That may not be appropriate for 7th graders.

While we were in PCB this year, we made it to Schooners every day. Haven't done that since the old Treasure Island was still still around. Came home with over 30 Schooners glasses. The "Quiick Fix" is still as good as ever!!!!!!

You know, the Quick Fix is no longer on the menu (as I was told on my last visit). They still will make you one though and they are amazing thirst quenchers and hangover remedies.
