Wow, thanks everybody! We had a great time. 2 nights in Memphis, a week in NOLA and then on the way back, we stayed overnight in Clarksdale, MS (The Crossroads for all you blues fans) which is where my mo-in-law was born.
Had to come back to work to rest up!
If it doesn't involve the beach, it isn't a real vacation.

Glad to hear you had a great B-day and trip. Did you get to go down to the Riverwalk while in "Nawlins"?

Yes, we walked up and down the Riverwalk before and after our lunch cruise on the Steamboat Natchez. We had free tickets and the boat cruise was great, but the lunch was just OK. Good jambalaya, but the rest was umimpressive. But hey, it was free and it filled the void!

Can't beat it if it was free!! I like to bounce between Fat Tuesday's at the Riverwalk and Harrah's. I love the 190 Octanes!
