Thanks all! She is getting out of the hospital today. Not sure what route we took. The hubby does all the navigation, but I want to say we took a highway 77 part of the way. We turned right before the speed traps begin shortly after arriving in Florida on 231. It knocked out having to go through all that junk and through downtown PCB. We ended up coming out by Boondocks. It's shorter that way if you're staying in Laguna Beach, but it would have taken about the same amount of time if we were staying in our normal place.

We went that way one time also. We were on 77 to Hwy 20 and then to Hwy 79 which brings into PCB right there by city hall and PCBPD and Fire. Hwy 79 takes you Ebro Dog Track. Hey Big D, I think I hear the fat lady warming up!!

I always take 67 from Troy to 79 saves alot of time

I haven't posted in quite a few years, but have been truly lovin your photos. Thanks so much for sharing them. Is any of this crazy group going to be at LobsterFest this year? Anyone going down in Sept/Oct? I'm going down for LobsterFest, alone (first time) and driving back to ATL afterwards. Then the Hub and I return on 9/21 through 10/3. Would love to throw back some cocka tales and meet some of the new crew. Caio.

If you guys go down, please post. I would love to meet you, and any other Forum fanatics down for the festivities. I gotta tell you that what cinched the deal for me coming down before our vacation was The Swingin' Medallions playing on Sunday night. Haven't seen them since I was a surfer girl at Folly Beach, SC. Have talked a sax-man friend of ours who lives in PCB to go as my date Sunday night. Should be a DOUBLE-SHOT of fun!

You're a good papa if you go see your son play in the band. I, too, marched in the HS band at all the football games on Friday nights (sans parents). Ah, those were good times. Would have been better, though, if my parents had come see me play. You're a good papa.

Don't know if you remember, but you and I tried to get together years ago at Schooners, just couldn't make it happen. I'll be down that Fri Nite-Mon this year without hubby. Maybe we can hook-up at Schooners this year. Just a thought. Let me know if you're interested.

I booked a flight but now will have to change it due to my brother having surgery. I was going to try to stay a week but I know that won't happen now. Could still try for quick weekend but will just have to look. If it's a go, I would like to come hang out with you.

Yep summer is shore here allright.. Been really hot this year.. It was really hot in panti maw this month when I was down.. Had to stop at every bar I came too riding my bike to get a kold one.. Of course I would do thatr anyway... So many bars so little time..
