I'm only a visitor once a year for a week, but am SO happy for the new ordinance! Every summer when we are there, I get so tired of seeing all the stuff left on the beach every day and every night!!
Two more weeks and I'll be at Treasure Island and walking to Schooners every day!!

Well if I had Big D's luck with these tents, I wouldn't even think about putting one out!! I would just make sure my beer cooler was secure!! I can use it as a floating device if I was drug out to sea and have the pleasures of cold frosty beverages while I wait for help!! LOL!!!

hey La let me know how Treasure Island is....looking at place there for second week of august!!! can't wait it will be hubby,me and our daughter and fiance!!! and of course our dog LOL, have 1 for me at Schooners, love the Key Lime Pie drink!!!!! and I'm with you on the new law about stuff on the beach, its to beautiful to leave all of the junk behind!!!!

treasure island is a nice location and go there n october for fall break and the bikers will be n town then, lots of fun

fb_bama if people would not litter there would be no problem so those people messed it up for the good people that would take down there tents after there vacation is over.. ENJOY THE BEACH

Treasure Island is our favorite condo in PCB. This will be our 5th time there!! We always rent the same one on the 23rd floor! Love it!!

I never thought anything about this rule until an impromptu storm came one evening and blew three or four tents with all their rafts and beach balls out into the ocean. I sat on the balcony and watched beach balls sail out to sea until they disappeared. Beach walkers down there tried to save some stuff but they were trying to get to where their condos were. Most likely the vacationers were out to dinner. The storm was so quick and didn't last long so they might not have known anything except all their stuff was missing.
