Yep, that too. Then the question is, vendors get to leave their stuff being they are paying the upland owner for the use of the beach. So if you rent a condo, you are also renting the property, so do you get to leave your stuff?
Old Captains never die, they just get a little dingy!!
If its illegal to drink and drive, why do bars have parking lots?
This new ordinance is a classic example of govenment overstepping its boundaries. If I own a house on the beach, I should have every right as a property owner to leave out a canopy overnight... or however long I so choose. Each property owner or resort should be the ones making such rules.
Stay Thirsty....
I've been to Smartnumber's condo at Treasure Island and it's beautiful. Never have stayed there, though. Have a great time.
The new ordinance is wonderful! Even on my end of the beach, where it's mostly residential, people leave all sorts of junk behind. It just makes me irritated. People also leave all sorts of stuff in the condos when they leave. Don't buy a boogie board. Instead, make friends with a housekeeper. They can probably find you one for free.![]()

"It all depends on the day. "
Yep...folks are too lazy to take the air out of floats too. They just leave them at the pool and we use those instead of hitting up the dreaded Walmart.
Stay ugly and bitter, my friends.
Hey! I assume that the "No Glass" on the beach rule is still in effect...... I was down last week and saw dozens of folks walking around, up and down, the beach with glass beer bottles in hand.
