I emptied it, didn't realize I had that many PM's. That sounds great, we'll try to work something out.

K-Nurse! When are your two weeks scheduled for PCB? I'm coming down for the LobsterFest weekend, returning home Monday. Then the hubster and I return on Friday 9/21 and are there through 10/3. You gotta stay at least ten days to really enjoy the beach, don't you? I mean, a week doesn't do it for me anymore. You're just getting unpacked and starting to unwind when you have to start thinking about packing up again! BTW, we'll be at Mariner West, just down the road from Schooners. I'll get some contact info to you in September! Definitely plan on rocking out on Sunday night at Schooners with The Swingin' Medallions! Toes in the sand, a drink in the hand, dancin' to a swingin' band! Could it possibly get any better?

Can someone tell me more about the "mini feast" on Saturday please?
Is it one price for entrance, buffet, etc? If not, how much is the buffet?

    Sounds like a blast!

In the past, on Saturday the food on the beach has been sold a la carte. I know they sold lobster hoggie sandwiches out on the beach on Saturday last year. I've never hung around long on the Sunday of LF. That's when they do the big feast. It seems like the price last year for the big feast was less than $30 per person.

It looks like this years ther is a "mini feast" on Saturday, and a separate buffet feast on Sunday.
Any more specific details on the two would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

Yeah, I'd like to know more about this "mini feast" too. The last Lfest I attended there was only one "feast" and it was on Sunday. You bought your ticket and got a plateful of food, sort of buffet-style. But it was always on the last day. If anyone knows how it's going down this year, please fill us in!

Last year, we went on Saturday. The mini feast is basically items sold down on the beach. Last year, I remember them having lobster rolls and etoufea (sp?) along with a couple of other lobster items. You could either eat it on the beach or bring it back to the deck. We just opted to order on the deck and order from the lobster "specials". The items on the beach didn't come with any sides other than chips, so that's why we steared clear. I also remember something about having to purchase "lobster bucks". Usually, they post a menu a couple of weeks before the event. Maybe they will include the menu for the "mini feast" as well.
Stay ugly and bitter, my friends.

Friends of ours last year had the lobster rolls also and they said they were pretty good. I think you bought tickets and took the tickets to the booth where you picked your food up. Just a FYI........the beer lines are long most of the time. Luckily Big D had his beer buffet going out of his cooler. It was good cold beer with no wait!!!

Okay, we're a little over 3 weeks from LobsterFest and I don't want to see this thread disappear again. We gotta keep it going until the big event! So once again I give a big SHOUT-OUT . . . who all is going to be there? Start thinking beer . . . lobster . . . cocktails . . . lobster . . . music . . . lobster . . . more beer . . . more lobster . . . and good friends. Such sweet thoughts!! Can't wait!
