I loved dealing with D-bags that thought just because they had a higher education they were above everyone, including the law. There is no better feeling than locking up a drunk loud mouth lawyer!!! Gotta love it! We know who came out on the losing end......just a hint, I went home and the end of my shift. Should have stayed in law enforcement with todays economy the way it is! LOL!!!
( see bold text ) Maybe he feels this way. If so.. you called him a D-bag.

Well I will just let the truth speak for itself......You must read the sentence in front of what is in bold text. I was explaining one of many kinds of people that I had to deal with while performing my job. I still do not see anybody's name being mentioned. Sorry but I can't control other peoples feelings........it is what it is!! "G-Day"!!

Whoa....is that you Big Dave after a long night out?

Wow, things were starting to get a little stale on the forum and all it took was bricball stirring the pot to get things rolling again! I love all my forum buddies jumping to the defense of PCB; each in their own colorful way!
If it doesn't involve the beach, it isn't a real vacation.

So... in October...we will be down at PCB for our "already" scheduled fall break trip. I do love the Fall time at PCB because of the lack of crowds and "cleaner" water quality. Our time share was already scheduled and paid for in advance otherwise I would probably trade it for another area. We do plan on going fishing with our favorite and long time friend Captain (every year since 7). We will also hit Andrews with the kids for a afternoon...maybe rent a pontoon as well.
For you all that are staunch blinded supporters of PCB....please don't take my previous posts wrong. I love PCB...like I mentioned...I have been going to PCB for 35 years, great memories with my grandpop, friends at miracle mile, and mom and dad, I was engaged on PCB, and my wife and I have taken all 4 of our kids there 3x a year and I know they love it too.... for now... It's just turned too commercial for us at this point. The attractive piece is the proximity and drive for us.... we love the southern hospitality...but its time to check out some other places. Still love watching the live cams on schooners.

Wow - exactly the same here, started at 7 and now 43. Only difference is I can't go several times a year and it's been years since I've been able to go <-- super sad face.

Again.......I think you would really like Mexico Beach then. Very very little commercial. But you are kind of limited as far as places to stay. The beach is beautiful though.

I have been other places. What I love about PCB is the end of the beach we stay at--far east end by St. Andrews. It's quiet and we go in the off season, "after the coast is clear" to quote a Buffet song. You should always be willing to try other places, be adventurous, see the world. Life's too short-breath in, breath out, move on.

I too have been other places and for the last 7 years my family has vacationed in PCB for the entire month of September. My first trip to PCB was in the mid 60's with my parents on vacation. Over the years I have been a ton of times. There have been changes over the years, both good and bad, but we will continue to come back. Along with many others we prefer the quiter east end of Thomas Drive. This year we are in Seychelles for the first time and though the Gulf isn't as beautiful as it usually is we are having our normal great time. As others have also said, there have been some bad circumstances over the years but they can be chalked up to a few idiots that can't handle their booze. PCB is what you make of it. If you want a laid back vacation in a beautiful place then go to PCB.
Love the feel of sand between my toes!
