Quick Installation Instructions

When you click on a "webcam" link for the first time, you will be prompted to install the Abacast software. Don't worry, the installation is quick and easy!

1- You'll be prompted to "install and run" the software. Click "Yes"
2- You'll then see the necessary files transfer to your hard drive.
3- You are finished. Enjoy the Web Cams from Schooners!

Note: The Abacast software no longer supports users with dial-up connections.

Additional Installation Instructions

Once the download begins, a "File Download" window will appear offering the option of running the Abacast installer from its current location, or by first saving the program to disk. If you choose to save to disk (hard drive), please note the location where the program is being saved (i.e. C://Program Files/Abacast). You can then run the installer by clicking the Open or Run button when the download completes, or by double clicking Abasetup.exe from the location you saved it to.

Please Note: No Windows System files are modified or replaced by the Abacast Client installation or operation.

The Minimum hardware requirements required to use the Abacast Distributed Streaming Technology are as follows:
Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000 or XP
200Mhz Pentium class or similar CPU
64MB RAM
Sound Card and speakers
Internet connection


Uninstallation Instructions

Click Start > Program Files >Abacast
Locate and Click "Uninstall Abacast Client" to Uninstall.
